Flexitank is a new type of flexible packaging container that can store and transport various non-dangerous liquid cargoes.
Each container can be just placed in a 20ft international standard container with a volume of 14-25 cubic meters, and can store and transport up to 25,000 liters of liquid. In this way, the container transportation method is ideally used. It is suitable for rail, motor, and ship transportation. To a certain extent, it can replace traditional packaging such as expensive tanks and iron drums, which can greatly reduce the costs of loading & discharging, packaging, transporting and material management, and improve logistics efficiency

1. Could we reuse the flexitank?
Answer: Flexitanks we supplying is one-trip disposal packaging product, not suitable for reuse.

2. What is the quality guarantee term for flexitank? How to store flexitanks?
Answer: Quality guarantee term for flexitank is 18 months after its manufacture date. It's recommended to store flexitank in dry and cool environment free from direct exposure to sunlight.

3. What is the maximum loading capacity of a single flexitank?
Answer: According to COA PAS2008: 2017, one single flexitank maximum payload is 24,000L or 24MT. 
It's suggested by COA to keep actual loaded volume ±500L of nominal capacity of flexitank. 

4. What is the suggested temperature for liquid cargo when loading it into flexitank?
Answer: It's suggested to keep liquid in the temperature range -20ºC~60ºC when do the loading.
In case loading temperature is higher than 60 ºC, please reach us for specific solution and suggestion.

5. What is the suggested pump rate when loading liquid into flexitank?
Answer: ≤500L /min

6. What to do if there is a leaking during transport?
Answer: Approach the LAF personnel in contact with you to brief the field situation with relevant information, upon the notification, LAF ERS team would organize the local cargo rescue and investigation if needed ASAP, as well as to handle subsequent potential claim. 

 

7. After liquid discharge, how to dispose used flexitank?
Answer: Collect paper and steel components respectively, roll up the used flexitank, send them to certified waste treatment institutions.
